Owen Hoeft
FOUNDER + COACH
Running is a catalyst for personal growth
The impact of a great coach has been clear to me since my beginnings in running. I grew up looking up to track and cross country coaches who shaped who I am today. This grew my love for teaching and helping others realize their potential and purpose. My athletic and academic experience in running has also inspired me to share what I’ve learned with others to help them chase their own dreams.

For me, running has been a medium for self-improvement and fulfillment; coaching provides me the opportunity to teach others what I’ve learned from my own running journey and education. I find joy in learning from my athletes and look forward to giving back to the sport that has given me so much.
More about Owen

Owen is a Brooklyn-based elite runner and coach who was raised in Minnesota and shaped by running through northern winters. He was a state champion at Hopkins High School and an All-American and Big Ten champion at the University of Minnesota. He graduated with a Kinesiology B.S. and an Exercise Physiology M.S. Post-collegiately, Owen has pursued semi-professional running in the 1500m-5000m. He’s coached as a volunteer assistant at the University of Minnesota, for a Brooklyn based run club, and privately for a variety of runners competing on the track to ultras.
